Title: Service Administrator

Reports to: Managing Director

Job purpose: To coordinate all resources to ensure efficient operation of the service department

Key responsibilities and accountabilities:

  • Organizes, distributes and verifies the work and training of others. Establishes priorities. Allocates physical and human resources. Acts as resource person;
  • Coordinates customer service. Provides information on the products and equipment and makes recommendations based on customer requirements. Ensures prompt response when liaising with our customers;
  • Prepare list of parts requiring ordering for each job and pass to the Stores manager;
  • Maintains computerised information systems;
  • Arranges for the installation, maintenance and repair of equipment;
  • Contacts appropriate companies for estimates of repair costs. Ensures renewal of existing maintenance contracts;
  • Performs administrative duties appropriate to the activities of the Service Department;

• Previous experience within in managing the time of a team of Off-Site Engineers
