CARBON TRUST LOAN

We are working closely with the Carbon Trust to offer our customers the right advice to identify ways of reducing their carbon emissions, this also means saving money.

The Carbon Trust has introduced a new £10 million initiative called the ‘Energy Efficiency Capital Equipment Loan Scheme’ under the umbrella of Action Energy.  The scheme is specifically designed to help manufacturing and non-manufacturing small to medium sized companies in England and Wales where energy makes up a significant part of operating costs.  The Scottish Energy Efficiency Office and Northern Ireland both have existing interest free loan schemes.  Organizations can apply for interest-free loans of £5,000 to £50,000.  Loans can be advanced to projects that have a payback period of five years or less.  The attraction of the scheme is that businesses can pay back the loan out of the energy savings made from the investments. The repayment period is up to 5 years.
